MAF 2024

The fair is over and the whirlwind of the weekend has settled into a quiet hum.

Manchester you were something special. Watching people engage with the work—some lost in thought, others sharing stories or chatting excitedly—was incredible. The art I’d lived with this year suddenly felt alive in a whole new way. Visitors found meanings and connections I hadn’t even considered, which is one of the most beautiful things about sharing art. It stops being just mine and becomes something for everyone.

I am grateful for everyone who helped me with all the preparations and throughout the weekend. Huge thanks as well for the conversations had with fellow artists, new collectors and everyone that stopped to share kind words. It felt like a bit of risk not bringing the florals that were so loved but, the grey clouds inspired by my runs throughout the year, were so well received. The response was beyond anything I could have hoped for.

It’s great to hear how happy my new collectors are with their pieces.

One shared, “We LOVE your work and it now has pride of place in our lounge. We still smile and get giddy every time we see it. Thanks so much for making our first purchase so memorable.”

The feedback and conversations over the weekend have sparked so many new ideas, and filled me with such a buzz.

For those that couldn’t attend or loved a piece but couldn’t take it home during the show, the remaining paintings are now available for purchase on my shop. If one of the pieces spoke to you, I’d love for it to find its forever home. You can explore the collection here.

To everyone who came, supported, or shared a kind word—thank you. With the walls empty now, I am looking forward to stepping back into the studio and exploring what comes next. See you next year!
